Today we are going to to take a multi-faceted approach to discussing vaccines. First, you'll hear a very powerful story from a former antivaccine single mother, Steph Mary, whose child got pertussis since she never got her them vaccinated. It is a powerful story, as well as somewhat intense (fair warning, there are a few f-bombs) but it's real, authentic and from the heart.

After hearing Steph's experiences in leaving the antivaccine movement, we will hear from a biochemistry student Edward Nirenberg. Edward is a recent graduate from Cornell who studied macrophages in an immunology lab while working on a degree in biological sciences. We discuss adjuvants, antigens, preventable diseases and more in a thorough investigation into the evidence and data, as well as an attempt at understanding the core of antivaccination attitudes.
